Cover frame for the Philips Hue Discover/Welcome

The Philips Hue Discover floodlight is a bright and extremely useful wall light. Unfortunately, no one seems to have thought about a suitable attachment. If there is no cable outlet at the exact mounting position, you are forced to drill out the frame, pry open the wall or attach the lamp crookedly. Sometimes you simply need more space behind the lamp body due to a cable box on the wall.

With the framework offered here, this problem can finally be solved. Simply clip onto the Discover body and attach to the wall as before. Thanks to a hole on the side, the cable can now also be laid attractively surface-mounted!

The cable is fed in either from above or below.

For all items I only use BIO-PLA, which is made in Europe. This bioplastic is made from corn and sugar cane starch and is compostable in accordance with DIN-EN 13432. Other positive side effects: BPA-free, food-safe and flame-retardant. Retains its shape up to 65° Celsius!

The item is made to order on my 3D printer. Since this item is manufactured using a 3D printing process, there may be minor surface imperfections. This does not constitute a defect.
